Kerry has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for eight years. She received her Master’s Degree from the University of Vermont where she participated in a specialized training grant in the areas of augmentative alternative communication and assistive technology. She is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed to practice in the states of Oregon and Washington.
Kerry has a strong foundation in child and family-centered practice and believes that partnering with families fosters progress. She therefore not only works directly with the individual who experiences a communication challenge but also works closely with their family and/or care providers.
Kerry enjoys working with people who have diverse and varied communication needs. Her areas of interest include: developmental and motor-based speech disorders, language and learning disorders, developmental disabilities and augmentative alternative communication and assistive technology. She is passionate about making therapy functional and relevant to daily life.
